BIOGRAPHY OF MIRIAM GUADALUPE
Born in Madrid
In 1979 she stops her studies in philosophy and leaves to Mexico where she made her firsts drawings; there she knows the technique of \"batik\" and incorporate it into her drawings.
In 1980 she travels to Los Angeles, where she met artists who influence her life and her work.
In 1981 part to England where she continue to study on the human body, main reason of her artistic interest.
Back in 1985 to Madrid to study Fashion Design in Stoddart School, where she excels at classical drawing technique, leaves the design and fashion to devote herself to drawing the human body.
In 1986 she made her first works in oil.
From 1987 to 1997, conducts studies of philosophy, psychology, astrology, occult sciences, always with the interest to discover the universe of the human mind.
Despite academic training and courses in different subjects she consider herself autodidacta by nature.
In 1998 she settled in Monaco, where she deliver herself to painting. She studies 3 years at The School of Beaux Arts in Monaco, and another 2 years at La Escuela Municipal de Menton (France), where she took classes from Christophe Gerard, professor at La Villa Thiol of Nice, and participates in studio of Mr. . Grassi in Beausoleil, conducts various courses and monographics in the villages of the Riviera Côte d’Azur.
Prize awarded in 2002 \"Revelation\" by the Association Aurélia Côte d\'Azur, Roquebrune Cap Martin (France).
Take classes of portrait by Joseph Askew, New York\'s disciple Ernst Fuchs, the latter a contemporary and friend of Dalí, she will be privileged to receive valuable advice directly in the studio of the master in Castillon (France).
In the same year she travel to Morocco to learn the techniques of glass art made by a famous craftsman, Mohamed Mouline, Tiffanys technics.
She return to France, and takes classes at La Turbie classic leaded glass panels.
In 2004 she received a scholarship from the Generalitat of Catalonia to study at The Glass Foundation in Barcelona, where she mixes her knowledge of painting techniques with glass.
Collaborative Exhibitions: Boards of the City Councils in the Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Peine, Roquebrune, Menton, Villefranche sur Mer, Nice, etc..
Permanent exhibition until 2004 in Monaco, c/Base s/n in her own Gallery, and in her atelier of Villefranche sur Mer.
Exhibition permanent till 2010 in Aranjuez (Madrid), and at present in her atelier in Denia (Alicante), Spain.
